Taina Otsamo has studied weaving in the school for arts and crafts in Kalajoki, Raahe and Oulu. After the studies since 1991 she has been working in her studio in Lumijoki planning and weaving her rugs.

Taina lived one year on Iceland with her family in 1998-1999, and has lived there altogether 3 years. She has also lived in Sweden and Denmark.
